At Vanderville, horses aren’t just part of the business — they’re part of the bloodline.
Ours is a story that spans decades, generations, and a shared belief in the kind of horsemanship you can’t teach in a week — the kind earned through seasons, sweat, and a steady hand.
Our roots stretch back to cattle country and stock horses — long days in the saddle, quiet nights in the shed, and horses that earned their keep. Before we ever led a yearling into a sales ring, we were mustering, breaking in, foaling down, and learning to read a horse like a map.
That foundation — of feel, respect and hard-earned knowledge — still guides everything we do.
What began as a small family operation with a passion for good types and good temperaments has grown into a respected name in the thoroughbred industry. We've raised horses that have gone on to perform, to compete, and most importantly, to last.
Now, a new generation is by our side — not running the show, but walking alongside it.
From holding mares for scans to sweeping the feed shed floor, they’re growing up the way we did — in the dust, in the detail, and in deep respect for the horse and those who came before them. They're learning not just the what, but the why behind every choice we make
There’s no rush. No shortcuts. Just the slow, steady build of knowledge and instinct.
